Stuff to do: Take a French Quarter Walking Tour with Friends of the Cabildo. Hang out in the Garden District. Hop on the St. Charles Avenue streetcar, take a river cruise, eat seafood and gumbo, or just drink your way down Bourbon Street. Take the Algiers ferry from Canal Street across the Mississippi River and visit Mardi Gras World for a look at the floats built for the annual festival. Head out of the city and go on a swamp tour.
