Not the most fun place - in fact, looks like a nightmare to live there - but it's a sight to see. Never seen a more clean, organized, robot-like city that is completely functional before. From there, cross the line into Malaysia - the beaches around Johor Bahru are beautiful.

In Singapore treat yourself to High Tea at the Raffles Hotel or at least swing in for a Singapore Sling (it was created there). 

The night safari at the Singapore Zoo is a nice change of pace and an enjoyable walk through the park in the evening hours.
