Brno
Things to Do
Brno grows on you. At least, it did on me.
The first time I went
there I didn't think it was real special
but every time I went back I like
it more and more. There
are some forested hills around Brno that have some
great
walks and there's a little lake that was very nice as well.
Try
to learn some basic Czech as a lot of people there are
not too fluent in
German or English.
It's a decent city to explore and it's really cheap.
I'd allocate at least 3 days to see it properly
Go into Molly
Malones on Ceska street and sing along to the music. You will attract some
female attention.
I like the Desert bar but seriously,
there are some strange people in this town. It seems that every English speaker
that lives here is stuck here, for better or worse and not that excited to meet
anyone for a night. I'm buying shots of tequila for strangers last night, like
one for a guy just because he was from California too but it barely phased him.
You buy me a shot just because I'm far from home and you've made a good friend
for at least 10 minutes!
