Traveller's Hostel -

One of a million hostels in C.Krumlov. I
stayed only one night because I couldn't stand the 'no curfew' rule. Drunk
travellers wandered in as late/early as 4:30 in the morning. Dorm rooms hold
about 10. Private/singles available. Downstairs/lobby is a fully staffed, fully
stocked bar.
Things to Do

Krumlov
Of all the places I went in the Czech Republic, it
stands out in my mind the most. Not only is it beautiful, it has a wonderful
atmosphere. They seem to have done a decent job regulating development--there
are quite a lot of souvenir shops, but very few of the tacky T-shirt and coffee
mug variety. Then again, I was there the first day it re-opened after the flood,
so it wasn't very crowded.
Don't miss the kanoo tour (bring
six pack & sticky weed) and papa's restaurant, great steak! Trains are sort
of a hassle, you get there with a local train from Budjovice (sp?)
(=Budweis).
Day Trips
You might try Cesky Budejovice
nearby. It's a bit larger and not quite so pretty, but it's also less touristed.
