Things to Do  

As far as hiking goes, I think Cesky Raj is pretty average. The old stone house things are kind of interesting, but the scenery isn't amazing. Might be prettier if you go when the leaves are changing though.

So far as I know, Cesky Raj is the major hiking area in the Czech Republic. I have vague recollections of trails near Krk Chateau. Some of my classmates went there and enjoyed it, but I haven't been personally.
