Wadden Islands

Visit
the Wadden Islands in northwestern Netherlands. There are supposed to be some
great walks across the mudflats (with a guide, of course) and nature reserves to
check out in the islands.
Friesian is supposed to be so close
linguistically to English (and a genetic study last year actually found that
males from Friesland are more closely related to English males than males from
Wales or Scotland),
It's really interesting just listening to the people
speak, reading menus and roadsigns, etc. Otherwise, Friesland is quite flat and
boring,
